really guys, i kid you not, i haven't been able to get it outta my mind. and i somehow can't conform only with a"yes or no", i feel the need for reasons and meta and explanations and maybe even pics, idk. convince me (not that it would take a lot), but there's this feeling in me that wants words. lots of words about your own experience as akame fans.

past the idea, what makes you think about possibilities? do you even think there even are possibilities? if you think "kriszeth, you're delusional, they are only friends. if that"

i NEED to know. need something solid or as solid as fans' thoughts can solidify.

maybe i'm asking too much, and i don't get a lot of comments in neither of my entries, but this time i beg for comments. i want to know your thoughts on this matter, so i hope you click on the post a comment thingie and tell me what do you think/feel/believe and here is the tricky part: I ALSO WANT THE WHYS!

I'm fairly new to Akame, but I don't think they've done anything sexual.

But I'm a huge Sakumoto fan who doesn't think they've ever done anything sexual either. And I stan Sakumoto like you wouldn't BELIEVE. I have 100+ pics in my Sakumoto folder LOL.

I ship because it's fun, not because I believe it's real. I love fan service and close friendships. I like when there's enough of the so-called "evidence" to imagine things. When it comes to fic, I like to use existing personality traits and fan service and things to create a story. But it's fun. If they've had sex, it's not really my business. If they have, more power to them. If they haven't, it's fun to write about, think about, etc.

So when it comes to real people, I definitely toe the fiction line.

Basically I agree with Matchy's "this is why fic exists." For me it's all in the realm of possibility. I'm not convinced one way or the other. I'm perfectly happy imagining "yeah, all the way" one moment, and "no, not at all they've always been platonic" the next.

Of course, this also introduces the nebulous question of what you mean by "sex" because that's a murky area--and it's interesting, but not my point.

Actually, the contrary part of me really wants epic Akame fic where they are just platonic. It's not like the sexual factor is the only thing that makes them interesting. I appreciate it as much as the next fan and it's admittedly something that can make a whole lot of sense, but it's nowhere near my #1 reason for loving Akame.

I do like the idea of ~*~awkward teenage hormones~*~ though. Nothing is more emotionally wrenching than adolescence, which I imagine is even more confusing when you're an idol. It's not that big of a leap to think there were feelings/thoughts/urges, but whether they were acted upon and to what degree is a whole different matter.

There's really no concrete evidence and likely never will be. We get the fanservice, we get the rumors, the possibilities, and the rest is up to our interpretations. You can believe one way or the other, or any range in between, and people will certainly argue over it until the end of the world, but in the end it can't be proven as a fact. Which is really how it should be.

I think every Akame fan wondered about it at least once. There was a post about this topic a few days ago, you might want to check it out if you haven't seen it yet. I don't know what the comments were, though, because I haven't read them.

Me, I want to think that they shared a kiss at least. Kame's quite a touchy-feely kid and chibi!Jin (up to the end of the Gokusen era) might have let it happen :S
As for sex, well, who knows. Probably they watched porn together? Some teenage boys do that. If they had sex, it happened a long time ago. They were the closest during Gokusen 2. I can't say I'm sure they actually fucked (to be clear) but I like to think they had some action going on.

I can see a lot of people here agreed that if that ever happened it must have been when they were awkward horny teenagers.
I think that's not the case! Call me delusional, but I really do think that they had a serious relationship beck then, including kisses, sex, wearing each others clothes and accessories and waking up the morning next to each other.

Why? Easy. I've seen so many Akame-related posts in my life concerning evidence of their love and all. I don't believe anything unconditionally, I'm quite skeptical so I really like to think about those things and believe them only when it practically screams into my face that "hey it's so obvious!!!"

I think one of the best evidences that how often Akame were caught wearing each other's clothes. I mean, would you really use the same closet as your friend does only because you're (best/ or not) friends? And they are boys!
The other thing is the songs. I'm not going to ramble about this here, but I've always felt the connection between them when it comes to their songs like some kind of way to comminucate their feelings towards each other even in public.

And supposing that my theory is true, I'd say they were (and I like to think they still are) in a relationship and in love. And yeah they had sex, obviously, we are talking about healthy young sexy gorgeous hot men after allXD
If they ever had sex, I'm convinced it was not because they were horny teenagers, I can imagine they kissed because of that and watch porn as the others mentioned. But I don't think they had anything more physical if the thing between them weren't more serious.

Of course, this is only my sick perverted fangirling mind speaking, and doesn't mean that I say I'm right. This is what I think, how I interpret the "signs".

Probably am just going to repeat what others have said, but I think I'm likely to believing that they probably have fooled around a bit, kisses or whatever, but I don't know about actual sex. Like sapphynashi said, it's a kind of vague area. Based on the way they've acted around each other in the past (and I'm not just talking about jr. days and being hormonal teenagers), I feel like there is definitely a level of comfort between them that goes beyond average friendship, but I'm not sure if it's just the way they are, the culture difference, or if there really was something more.

Generally though, I leave the sexual for the fiction, like people have said above. Truthfully, I prefer seeing them as just friends in real life, but if there's really been something else (which none of us will ever know), then all the better.

Realistically? I think they've messed around in their younger days, yes, though I don't know how far that would've gone. But there's enough of a conspiracy theory around the whole Akame mystery to make me wonder if it continued later. I mean, for ages they were promoted as a pair, even to the extent of putting poor Kame in a wedding dress and having the two of them in bed together, and these days if random Japanese celebs blog about spotting the two of them having tea together the post is immediately shut down and an apology made! So why go to all the trouble of concealing it (and having Nakamaru deliberately insert himself between the two so they don't stand next to each other etc.) if there's nothing to hide? ;-)

orz copypasting this from the last time this was asked, as my opinion will never change.
I've been an Akame fan for going on four and a half years now, and throughout that time I've mainly focused on their earlier relationship ('03 sort of time) because I felt they fell apart a little by mid-'05. And having been in a friendship/romantic friendship/relationship with a (same sex) best friend, I've been kind of obsessed with checking for similar patterns in their behaviour lol. So just basing it on that, I've always felt there's been something >>
From reading and translating their older interviews, although their relationship has gone through several phases since they first knew eachother, I honestly don't think at any stage they would have slept together. I truly believe that they've shared kisses and even if only briefly, been in love. But much as I like imagining their relationship being more physical, I just don't think it's true lol Jin has such a physical friendship with Pi, for a start... I don't think it's in either of their personalities to treat eachother that way if they knew it would be impossible to maintain due to their career, and I don't think either of them (especially Kame) would be willing to put their career at risk for it, either.
So yeah, love and kisses yes, sex no, for me~
